Thanks for commenting. I didn't know about that article, so thanks for the link, too. I'd be interested to know about your PTSD treatment, if you want to post something about it. It's still hard to talk about the family stuff for me, but I'm working on it.

Interesting. No doc has ever questioned me about PTSD and I went to a clinic with one of the big name researchers in Fibro. In recent months though I've started to wonder how long I've really had PTSD for since, I've had the Fibro since I was very little. (I was diagnosed last year with PTSD for a long string of things that happened in a 'relationship' when I was 18. Now 26.) The last couple of days though I've been looking a little more at Complex PTSD and found this article today: http://www.miwatch.org/2007/11/complex_ptsd.html The section on bodily health was interesting and had me wondering. (For me, I've blacked out most of my childhood I get blips here and there about possible sexual abuse most of what I remember though is emotional/psychological abuse.)
I have been reading a few other peoples posts about how their family stuff was worse than the rape they went through. It's odd I didn't give it too much thought till I read your post but, I realize now it is somewhat easier for me to talk about it and all the other stuff that happened with that person than it is to talk honestly about what went on in the family.
Anyway thanks much for sharing!
